Showcasing Innovative Packaging Solutions at Macfrut 2025

This May, our combined company (International Paper and DS Smith) participated in Macfrut 2025 in Rimini, Italy, a trade fair for professionals operating in the national and international fruit and vegetables sector.

The team showcased a range of innovative products, such as our well-known plaform® trays and sustainable Respir® punnets, demonstrating to customers how our packaging solutions can improve efficiency and sustainability in their operations. A highlight of the showcase was International Paper’s innovative potato tray, recognized for its ergonomic design, safety features, and high-quality graphics.

With the recent combination of DS Smith and International Paper, our customers now benefit from an even broader range of innovative packaging solutions, and Macfrut was a great opportunity to be present together.

Macfrut provides a platform for connecting customers and suppliers throughout the fruit and vegetable supply chain, while also offering valuable industry insights and knowledge through events featuring the world's leading experts. In 2025, Macfrut attracted over 61,000 visitors, and more than 1,500 top buyers, highlighting its significance in the industry.
