Over the years we have donated more than 30 million zloty to the local Polish community to support renovations and construction work on everything from local footbridges to sports halls, rehabilitation centers for the disabled, water treatment plants, computer and language centers, to local cinema and theatre renovations as well.
The support extends to cooperating with local charitable organizations to help the needy in the community across our four signature causes: Education, hunger, health and wellness, and disaster relief. In Krakow, we provide charitable support under the umbrella of our “Branches of Giving” program.
Examples of Branches of Giving initiatives include “Bake a Cake for Charity” baking days, a “Share Your Shirt” clothes drive and “Back to School”, a school supplies collection. All initiatives aim at collecting funds or in-kind donations to support the underprivileged and needy. Supported institutions range from orphanages and mother-and-child homes to hospitals and homeless shelters.
Through a formal grant program the company provides funds to local charitable organizations for specific short-term, critical projects. Two times a year a committee reviews applications from organizations, which are often nominated by employees. Based on a defined set of criteria beneficiaries are then selected to receive grants.
