IP volunteers help clean local beach in Sicily

A team of volunteers from IP’s corrugated packaging plant in Catania gathered along the Italian coast for a beach cleaning day.

“Beach Litter” is an initiative organized by Legambiente, an association dedicated to promoting and protecting natural areas and biodiversity. During the day, IP employees helped pick up and remove litter and debris from a stretch of protected coastal area known as the Simeto Oasis.  International Paper has also been supporting Legambiente with financial donations.
