International Paper Wichita, KS Recycling Plant Overview
International Paper’s Recycling plant in Wichita, Kansas was established in 1990. The 60,000 sq. ft. facility is located in an industrial area off West Street and 29th Street, just north of I-235. UPS and Freightliner have facilities adjacent to our Wichita Recycling plant location.
This recycling facility is equipped with a sort line to separate mixed material that arrives through single stream recycling, a two ram horizontal baler, and a shredder. They offer straight / box truck and packer truck services to handle smaller volumes of material, and dropped trailer services to free up your valuable floor space while maximizing your operational efficiencies. In addition to rail capability, they have a private fleet of semi-trucks to handle larger loads of material.
International Paper’s Recycling business recovers, processes, and sells several million tons of corrugated packaging and paper annually. This makes us one of North America’s largest recyclers of recovered fiber.
