Inside Sales Representative in Global Customer Service Center (GCSC)
“International Paper offers a young, dynamic work environment encouraging close working relationships between management and employees. Management takes an active approach to employee development, supporting our professional growth.”
Thanks to the development-focused culture I was able to quickly advance within the company. My career path led from a Customer Service Representative position to Account Executive and a year later to Senior AE. In my job, I’ve had the opportunity to go to New York to meet some of our customers. Through this interaction with people in the North American paper market I became interested in sales and I jumped at the opportunity when a Sales Representative position opened. I have been working as an Inside Sales Representative since October 2013 and find the role challenging and rewarding.
Sales and Operations Planning Manager in Supply Chain
“International Paper is a dynamic company offering many new challenges. Working in Supply Chain has given me the opportunity to work across departments and gain a broad business perspective. International Paper also offers a wide range of professional development opportunities, from training modules delivered by internal experts to language classes.”
There are many opportunities for those who wish to have a career at International Paper. I started as a Customer Service Agent in the Customer Service Department. I soon moved to the Supply Chain Department, where I worked in a variety of positions. Since 2012 I have worked as a Sales and Operations Planning Manager and I am responsible for cooperation with overseas mills in Brazil and the USA, as well as supporting European Distribution Centers.
Finance Explorer in Business Analysis Center of Excellence
“International Paper’s Finance Explorer Program gives Finance graduates the opportunity to deepen your financial knowledge by offering to work in a range of Finance departments where you gain a good overview of both the function and the business. As part of the Krakow Finance Department program I gained hands-on experience in the areas of finance, credit operations, accounting and business analysis."
I started working at International Paper in March 2013, after graduating from the University of Seville in Spain. Thanks to the Finance Explorers Program, I have had the opportunity to foster relations with a wide range of international peers. This broad experience serves as a solid foundation on which I can build my finance career.
