Roll ends and other paper rejects may not be usable by printers and converters. They are an important source of recovered paper for International Paper. Our collection efforts provide customers a value-added service- and help conserve resources at the same time.
Reusable Resources in Roll Ends
Printers and converters face high disposal costs for butt ends, since cores are heavy and paper is hard to remove. International Paper answers this problem by collecting ends and splitting off any remaining stock with specialized roll-slitting equipment. We can then recycle both cores and paper so that little or no paper goes to waste.
Special Attention for Obsolete Paper Products
International Paper is also eager to accept your seconds. These are paper supplies that you no longer need but can be reused for other purposes. We will collect job lots from your site and save you both handling and disposal fees. In addition, you will have the satisfaction of knowing you are conserving resources and keeping usable material out of the landfill.
