Coated Board

Designers, converters and printers require the best possible materials when creating packaging for leading brands. International Paper's premium paperboard lines, Arktika (GC1, white back) and Alaska (GC2, manila back) are made of prime raw materials with state-of-the-art technology.

Boards produced by International Paper Kwidzyn are solid one-side coated multiboards.

We offer two grades of coated board:

Arktika - GC1 grade with white back
Alaska - GC2 grade with manilla back

The general structures of Arktika and Alaska are nearly identical, the difference being the whiteness of the back. Both Arktika and Alaska are made only of chemical pulp and chemithermomechanical pulp (so-called "prime stock").
Arktika and Alaska are ISEGA- and PZH-certified, which makes the boards suitable to be used as foodstuff packaging material.
