Pioneer Investor in Poland

International Paper has been operating in Poland since 1992 and employs almost 2,500 people across the country in two main locations: its pulp & paper mill in Kwidzyn and its Global Business Services Center in Krakow.

International Paper started its operations in Russia in 1998 with the acquisition of the Svetogorsk pulp & paper mill. The company’s joint venture Ilim Group is the country’s largest foreign-domestic alliance in the Russian forest products industry.
