The Power of Color

Ask the people you know about their favorite color and blue will inevitably rank near or at the top. Blue calms us and instills trust. After the fall of the Roman Empire, blue became the favored symbol of royalty in Europe. Because blue dye was so rare and expensive, only the aristocracy could afford it – in direct opposition to the notion of "blue collar" in today's society.
