Offset Printing:

• Accent Opaque and Accent Opaque Digital are guaranteed to perform on small and large sheetfed and web offset presses
• When used on heatset web presses, Accent products are guaranteed to perform on press and for immediate conversion into sheets.  Subsequent operations, including electronic imaging and additional converting processes, are not guaranteed.  However, our Pre-Printing Guidelines provide tips designed to minimize potential issues, such as curl
• Accent products are guaranteed to perform on computer-to-plate offset presses such as the Quickmaster, Screen True-Press, KBA, Karat 74 and other similar computer-to-plate presses

Pre-Printing:  (applies to weights 50 lb. and above)

• Accent Opaque and Accent Opaque Digital are guaranteed to perform when mill stock sizes are pre-printed on cold-set or UV offset presses and then imaged using office electronic imaging equipment or large electronic imaging printers, provided that our Pre-Printing Guidelines are followed

Electronic Imaging:  (applies to weights 50 lb. and above)

• Accent Opaque Digital is guaranteed to perform on large electronic imaging printers such as Xerox® DocuTechs™, Océ, Kodak Digimaster series, and IBM® digital systems
• Accent Opaque and Accent Opaque Digital are guaranteed to perform on office electronic imaging equipment such as copiers, laser printers, ink jet printers, and plain paper fax machines
• Accent Opaque Digital is guaranteed to perform on blanket image transfer digital printers such as the Kodak NexPress
• Accent Opaque Digital Smooth is guaranteed to run on HP® Indigo® equipment**
• Accent products are not qualified on large production digital web presses, such as Xeikon
• Accent products are not guaranteed for sheeting or converting applications after electronic imaging

**Accent Opaque Digital Smooth 50-100 lb. text and 65-100 lb. cover has been certified by HP® to run on the Indigo®.  Accent Opaque received on average a 3-star rating for runnability and blanket compatibility and a 2-star rating for toner ink adhesion.  Toner ink adhesion 2-star rating allows for a minimum of 80% ink adhesion and is acceptable based on the HP certification standards for a non-treated uncoated sheet.  our guarantee does not cover claims for toner ink adhesion that falls within the acceptable 2-star rating for HP certification.  For more information on Accent Opaque star ratings by basis weight, visit the RIT website at http://www.printlab.rit.edu/services_hp.php.

• Accent products are not guaranteed for high-speed ink jet applications (e.g., Scitex or Kodak)

Envelope and Forms Converting:

• Accent products are not guaranteed for envelope converting processes
• Accent products are not guaranteed for continuous forms applications
• Accent products are not guaranteed for optical or magnetic ink character recognition, applications, such as OCR, MOCR and MICR

International Paper guarantees the performance of these products as set forth above by offering replacement paper or credit for that paper which fails to perform.

International Paper's liability is limited to replacement of the paper or credit in the amount of the purchase price of the paper.  International Paper will not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages.  EXCEPT AS SET FORTH ABOVE, INTERNATIONAL PAPER MAKES NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY.
