National Geographic Society Magazine
International Paper has a strong belief in the value of education and it’s one of our top priorities. Our support of the National Geographic Explorer magazine is an example of this commitment.
For 2010-2011, you can choose from the following magazines:
- Young Explorer for grades K-1: Builds the literacy skills of your youngest readers as they learn science and social studies content.
- Explorer, Pioneer Edition for Grades 2-3 and Explorer, Pathfinder Edition for Grades 4-6: Note that these 2 magazines present the same science and social studies content but at different reading levels. You can mix and match your classroom subscription for differentiated instruction in the classroom.
- Extreme Explorer for Struggling Readers in Grades 6-12: Presents science and social studies content of interest to the older student, written at a 3rd grade reading level.
For each subscription to one of the Explorer magazines, you will receive seven issues throughout the school year. Each magazine contains 24 pages and every issue features an eight-page Teacher’s Guide.
