Riegelwood Mill

Located in the eastern United States, the Riegelwood Mill is situated on the banks of the Cape Fear River near Wilmington, North Carolina. Opened in 1951, the Riegelwood Mill has undergone continuous upgrades and renovations, more than doubling its size of operation.

Products are sold in rolls and bales to customers who convert them into products we use every day like paper cups and plates, greeting cards, paperback book covers, calendars and more.

International Paper has a long-standing policy of using no wood from endangered forests. Our wood fiber procurement policies are based on Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) operating principles and Best Management Practices and comply with Forest Stewardship Council's Controlled Wood Standard.
