Question: What is HealthyLife?
Answer:
HealthyLife is IP’s wellness benefit for active U.S. salaried employees, spouses and domestic partners.  HealthyLife is a partnership between employees and IP that gives everyone the opportunity to experience the rewards of better health. 

Question:  Who is eligible to participate in the HealthyLife benefit?
Answer:
Active U.S. salaried employees, spouses and domestic partners may participate in this program.  Salaried employees, spouses and domestic partners who are enrolled in an IP-sponsored medical plan also may receive medical premium credits for participating in HealthyLife; these premium credits may total as much as $900 per person per year.

Question:  How do I enroll in the HealthyLife benefit?
Answer:
Start by visiting www.redbrickhealth.com and going to Member Sign-In.  If you are already registered with RedBrick Health, you can log-on using your existing username and password.  If you are new to RedBrick Health, go to the Register Now link and complete the online registration form.  After registering your next step will be to complete your Health Assessment.

Question:  I lost my username and password for the HealthyLife/RedBrick site?
Answer:
To get a new username and password please visit redbrickhealth.com and follow instructions in Member Sign-in section.

Question:  If I am enrolled in an IP-sponsored medical plan, how much can I save by actively participating in HealthyLife?
Answer:
  Eligible employees, spouses and domestic partners who are enrolled in an IP-sponsored medical plan and who actively participate in HealthyLife each quarter can reduce medical premiums up to $1,800 annually.  More specifically, each participant is eligible for a monthly credit of $75, up to $900 per year/per person, or $1,800 per family.

Question: What if I do not participate in an IP-sponsored medical plan?
Answer:
You and your spouse or domestic partner will not be able to earn premium credits, but you will have complete online access to all of RedBrick Health’s wellness programs and the Health Assessment.  You’ll be able to register online with RedBrick Health.

Question: Why does IP offer the HealthyLife program?
Answer:
Employee health and wellness are important to IP.  For employees the ultimate reward of better health is the ability to live life to its fullest.  For International Paper, investing in prevention and wellness is the first step toward managing rising health care costs, which typically exceed $300 million per year.

Question: How will HealthyLife help to reduce health care costs?
Answer:
The cost of providing health care benefits continues to rise at an alarming rate.  With 70% of health care costs attributed to avoidable behaviors and the choices we make every day, HealthyLife will help participants take control of their health and wellness. Each participant will receive a roadmap and strategy to chart the path to better health.

Question:  Does HealthyLife monitor employees on their progress?
Answer:
Active participation in HealthyLife is what IP encourages. Actual outcomes such as a certain amount of pounds lost or whether an employee quits smoking, will not be considered.

Question: How will my HealthyLife goals be developed?
Answer:
  HealthyLife recommendations are based on your response to questions in the health assessment. RedBrick Health program recommendations are intended to create an ongoing commitment to wellness and to assist you in achieving your personalized goals.

Question:  What type of activities will I be expected to do?
Answer:
   The choice is yours. Everything from tobacco cessation and diet improvement to stress reduction and exercise techniques can be included in the personal plan.  Once an individual completes a personal assessment, then the corresponding educational materials and support tools needed to achieve those goals will be outlined.

Question:  Will I need internet access to participate in HealthyLife?
Answer:
  Employees, spouses and domestic partners who are enrolled in an IP-sponsored medical plan also may call a RedBrick Health advocate at 1-800-859-9311.

Question: Who is RedBrick Health?
Answer: 
RedBrick Health is a third party vendor that is managing IP’s HealthyLife benefit.  This company combines behavior-based health financing with personalized programs and independent advocates, helping Fortune 1000 companies and their employees experience all the rewards of better health.
