How To Determine Sheet Density

To determine the density of any given sheet, divide the basis weight by the caliper.

Find the density of a sheet of 118 lb. Carolina C2S Cover paper with caliper of .008

EXAMPLE: 118 / 8 = 14.75 lbs. per point
Note: Caliper is expressed in the formula as a whole number.
