New York, NY - October 17, 2006 - Shorewood Packaging's P-O-P Display group received three gold awards and one silver award from the Design of the Times retail display competition. This award program, presented by P-O-P Times, recognizes the in-store marketing industry's best displays and retail promotions. The winners were recently announced at the In-Store Marketing Expo in Chicago.
Gold awards went to Shorewood Display's AXE Unlimited 4 oz. Body Spray PDQ display for Unilever, Dove Hair Styling aids power wing display for Unilever, and Antonio Banderas' spirit Cologne countertop display for Puig NA. Shorewood's countertop display for Star Opal Nail Glaze by Sally Hansen for Del Labs received a silver awards.
The award winners were selected by a panel of more than 100 leading marketing and retailing experts. Entries were evaluated on creativity in design and engineering, the innovative use of materials, the compatibility of the display to its retail channel, its ability to enhance the brand's image, and the realization of sales and marketing objectives.
