Our 100% renewable fiber-based packaging is one of the most environmentally healthy, beneficial and safe packaging materials in all probable end-of-life scenarios, including:
Reuse Can be designed and engineered as a reusable container. Composting Can be composted following most applicantions. Recovering Can be recovered for use in other paper and packaging products Energy recovery Can be used as greenhouse gas neutral, renewable biofuel. Landfill With its high recovery rate, is less likely to end up in landfills.

Unlike most of our competitors, International Paper supplies our mills with recovered fiber from our own white paper processing and de-inking lants in addition to purchased fiber. These plants located at our Selma, Ala., and Franklin, VA., mills are dedicated to producing quality recovered fiber for our products. These plants were built in the mid-1990’s and represent IP’s long-term commitment to fiber recovery and paper with recovered content.
More paper-based packaging is recovered and utilized than any other packaging material
