Everest Safe-Pack
- Encapsulates a plastic blister between two layers of renewable, recoverable paperboard.

- Everest Safe-Pack is separable into its component materials and recoverable.
On average, more than 75 percent of Everest Safe-Pack by weight is paperboard.

- Packaging produced from Everest Safe-Pack can be 35 percent cheaper to cost neutral when compared to typical plastic clamshells.
    Fortess PLA Coated Cupstock

    - The revolutionary ecotainerTM  line by International Paper Foodservice Business was launched last summer as the only all-natural paper hot beverage cup available in consumer outlets nationwide.

    -  Ecotainer provides an alternative to standard paper packaging and is made from fully renewable resources.  It is compostable and leaves a smaller environmental footprint.

    - Corn-based polylactic acid(PLA), a bioresin, is extruded onto paperboard to provide a highly-effective moisture barrier for cups and food containers.

    - Less energy is needed to manufacture the PLA used in the new coating than the petro-based lining it replaces.  Consumers notice no difference – but the environment does!
