March 2009	AISEC: On the 18th of March 2009, IP delivered a workshop regarding the Customer Service Call model for the AISEC association at the University of Economics in Kraków. Job Fairs: International Paper was present at two job fairs in Krakow. On the 19th of March at the University of Economics, and on the 26th of March at the University of Science and Technology. Virtual Job Fair: From 2nd to 6th of March, 2009 International Paper participated in a virtual job fair at the popular Polish job portal “www.pracuj.pl” - including participation in a forum and a chat with students and potential candidates.
December 2008	Business Fair Play and the Platinum Laurel for International Paper - Kwidzyn December 5, 2008 - The Kwidzyn mill was recognised with the “Business Fair Play 2008” award. Mill Manager Marek Krzykowski and HR Director Anna Borzeszkowska received the award on behalf of the mill during a gala in the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw. This is the ninth consecutive year for the Kwidzyn mill to be awarded with this prestigious and respected distinction.   The purpose of the award programme is to promote ethics in business activities. It rewards companies who display a certain set of standards of behaviour in their relations with business partners, customers, employees, and shareholders, as well as the local community, local government and state authorities.
November 2008	JA Job Shadow 2008 On November 28, 2008, the Kwidzyn mill was among the recipients of distinctions given to the most active schools, institutions and companies participating in the Polish JA Job Shadow Day 2008. The ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw.
October 2008	Leader of Polish Ecology October 22, 2008, The Kwidzyn mill was selected as a “Leader of Polish Ecology”. The mill received this recognition for their continuous efforts to improve its environmental performance and minimise its manufacturing impact on the environment and the local community over the last 15 years. The “Leader of Polish Ecology“ contest is held under the patronage of the Polish Minister of Environment and aims at promoting environment friendly actions among companies, communities and individuals.
May 2008	Griffin of the Economy 2008 Pomeranian "Griffin of the Economy 2008" for International Paper - Kwidzyn. On May 28th the Gala of the IX edition of the Griffin of the Economy took place in Gdansk. Among the nominees the Kwidzyn mill was selected as the winner of the competition in the "Large Enterprises" category (over 250 employees).
2007	Businessman of the Year Marek Krzykowski, Kwidzyn Mill General Director, took part in this year’s “Businessman of the Year 2007” competition and was voted one of the most popular Businessmen of the Year. This competition is one of the oldest and the most prestigious of that kind in Northern Poland.    Pearl of the Polish Economy International Paper Kwidzyn Sp. z o.o. has won the 2007 prestigious title of the "Pearl of the Polish Economy" in an annual ranking of Poland’s best companies by "Polish Market" and the Institute of Economics at the Polish Academy of Science.   Business Fair Play On December 7, Mr. Stanisław Bartłomiejczyk, Technical Director, collected the "Business Fair Play" 2007 and the Golden Laurel for International Paper Kwidzyn Ltd. in the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw.  Most Reliable Employer in Northern Poland On December 14, International Paper Kwidzyn Ltd. Board Chairman - Marek Krzykowski received the "Most Reliable Employer in Northern Poland" title for the company.    Mercury 2007 In 2007, International Paper-Kwidzyn was among the winners of the sixth edition of the „Individuality of Market - Mercury 2007" competition in category of "Firm" under the patronage of Minister of Economy.
